Oxford needs a caretaker or foster! Won't you consider helping him get a new start?

All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

Oxford is one great family dog and best friend in the making. Small for a lab, at only 42 lbs., he really does look like one, so if you like the breed, but don't want to handle the size, here is your chance! A wonderful, friendly dog, and at barely a year old, just out of pesky puppyhood, he has his whole life ahead of him to love you with all his heart. His foster describes him in such glowing terms. She says "Oxford is a terrific dog, knows commands and is an overall great dog. Total love bug!" If you want a dog who is easy to have and to love, Oxford is perfect. He is good with other dogs and ready to learn from you what you want.
A SPECIAL NOTE TO YOU FROM HIS FOSTER; Ox is house and crate trained and he is only about 8 months old.  He knows sit and we are working on other commands.  He believes that he is a lap dog and a great snuggler. He is great with kids and loves people. He is dog selective and it is important that it be noted that he likes some dogs and not others.
