All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

Lenny is the kind of dog who gives the whole Labrador Retriever tribe a good name. He is happy, friendly, outgoing, very playful, and loving. He was simply born to be a family dog and best friend. His foster says of him "Not only is Lenny a good boy, he is a very pretty boy.  He is still young at heart.  He tested good with both cats and dogs.  The cat actually hit Lenny in the face with her paw, and he didn't do anything." So, if you have a cat, and want a dog, and also want harmony in your house, Lenny is your guy! Really, he is a fine, all around great dog. You will love him the moment you meet him. Hint...bring a toy and the connection will go both ways, instantly!

Lenny must only be in a home with older considerate children.  He also needs a home where someone in the family is home most of the day.

A SPECIAL NOTE TO YOU FROM HIS FOSTER:  He seems to know "sit" .He is a very pretty dog, very lab looking and affectionate. He would do best with an active person or family. Hiking, jogging, outdoor activities like camping, all would be perfect with Lenny. We will require a fenced yard for him to give him a place to play safely.
