All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

Dixie is truly a beauty, both inside and out. A good, sturdy girl, she has a wonderful soft, pettable coat and a regal bearing, just as if she actually knows how beautiful she is. But inside, she is even better. A very, very sweet and loving temperament, she is going to be one loyal dog. She is a dream to have around, not hyper, but a happy, friendly, outgoing dog. Good with other dogs, she is easy to take anywhere you want to go. Her person, or family will be her focus for a lifetime and she will give you her whole heart without restraint. You will be her everything. Yes, she's that kind of dog. A wonderful family dog who will walk by your side proudly all of her life. Dixie will need a home with no or few stairs/steps because of an old hip injury. She does walk/trot ok.
