Jake needs a caretaker or foster! Won't you consider helping him get a new start?
All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

Jake is a fine, fine dog! His foster says it all with: "He is very sweet, calm, loves belly rubs, and will steal your heart. He is house-trained, submissive and walks great on a leash." Jake is everything you want in a dog. At 45 lbs., he is on the smaller side of medium, so he is extra easy to handle and to take places. He will love going for walks, playing in the yard, but mostly, he will love YOU. He is a sturdy, handsome guy, past the puppy stage, but healthy and full of life and tail wags. There is nothing in the world nicer than a warm dog to snuggle with on a chilly night, and Jake completely fills the bill. As he lies there next to you, right up against you, and you scratch his tummy while he rolls over to show you a new spot you haven't scratched yet, you will know exactly why you chose him to be your dog.
