All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

With Black Lily we have a dog who has lots of experience in being a family dog. She was born around children and loves them...all sizes, shapes and ages. Give her a backyard with children and she will be sure she is in heaven. With her soft, silky fur, and desire to be petted, she is always a hit with those children, too. Being a good house dog, she is already well house trained. Her only failure, if you can call it that, is that she hates being crated, so we have solved that problem for her...we don't crate her! She is fine in the house without being on lock down. Another love of Lily's life is water. She has her own kiddie pool where she splashes to her hearts content. If you live near water, or like to go to lakes, streams, ponds, perhaps the ocean, that would be a plus in Lily's book. Lily loves to play with other dogs, so if you already have another dog and are looking for a canine friend, or you have friends and neighbors with dogs, you are good to go with Lily. Cats are no problem with Lily. She has been around them all her life. Does it sound like we are describing a wonderful dog? We are! Black Lily has FAMILY DOG written all over her.
