All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

Handsome little Levi had found himself passed around several different places in the last few months, including humane society and then kenneled at a vet.   He was very confused and had no idea why he was there. He was having a hard time getting along with other dogs and children in a previous home because they were not nice to him.  He is in a foster home now and will hopefully take a few days to settle down and begin to trust again. Levi is very playful and cuddly, he walks well on a leash, rides well in the car, loves going to the park.  Levi loves to play fetch and play in the yard, so a fenced yard and a doggie playmate would be ideal. Levi should go to a quiet home with older, well-behaved, calm children only.

Update from his foster: within just a few hours of arriving at his foster home, Levi made himself comfortable and met the cats and four dogs. He is getting along great with them, from my 100lb Great Dane to my little Rat Terrier. He has started barking at one cat but not the other, so we will continue to monitor that. Levi enjoys playing, loves to cuddle and give kisses. He has made himself at home next to us on the couch and in the bed when it is bedtime. As soon as he does his business outside, he runs to the door to go inside. But if you ask him to come back to play, he will gladly do so. He prefers not to be in a crate and will whine.  He really is just about the perfect dog!
