Liz needs a caretaker or foster! Won't you consider helping her get a new start?

All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

Liz is a sweet, gentle, older lady who has learned well throughout her life how to love. She has been eating a lot of food, and we mean a LOT, and most of it low quality, as in fast food, so she has gained some unwanted pounds. We are working on it! She is a big, sturdy dog, but shouldn't be this big. She should lose 10 to 15 lbs. and eventually weight 75 to 80 lbs. instead of 90 lbs. We think fosters know their dog best, so here is what her foster has to say about her...

Liz is just fabulous.  So sweet, mannerly and friendly.  She's  happy to just lie down beside my chair and be near me.  She's a bit overweight, (90 lbs), and would do well with some exercise.  But her coat, eyes, ears, etc. all look good.  She will make such a great companion and is such an easy dog.  Oh!  And I forgot - she has the most darling little submissive grin that just makes everybody around her smile!
