Daisy Darling knows all too well what it's like to be unwanted and abandoned. Her "family" never put much effort into her care and one day she had puppies. We will never know what happened to most of her babies, but we do know that she had one left. Then, one day, her "family" moved away and left Daisy Darling locked in the house without food or water. She tried hard to protect her puppy, and barked desperately for someone, anyone, to come and help her. For days they starved, and then, someone heard her and brought her and her puppy out of the abandoned house. Daisy's lack of luck held, and she was taken to a kill shelter. At least, she thought, there is food for me and my baby here. But their time was limited. At the last moment, a rescue stepped forward and took Daisy and her puppy to safety. She was amazed that she was given a soft place to rest and that food appeared regularly in her bowl. The best part was that there were gentle hands that stroked her and told her it was going to be alright. We stand by that promise. It IS going to be "alright" for Daisy. We are looking for a good home for her, where she will be loved and cherished for the sweet, brave girl she is. She has been totally vetted and gotten all her shots. Now she waits for that wonderful person to come take her to their home and make her theirs. A young dog yet, she should have many years to love you with all her heart. Can you see her playing in your backyard? Going for walks with you, trotting right there by your side, seeing the world for the first time with you. This is our hope for Dasiy Darling. Are you that person? Are you her Angel?

A SPECIAL NOTE TO YOU FROM HER FOSTER: Daisy is one of the most mellow dogs I've ever had. Absolutely nothing ever rattles her. Such a sweetheart!
