All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

This is what Parker's foster has to say about this wonderful dog:


His name is Parker and he is a 1.5 year old Carolina/ Border Collie Mix. He hasn’t met you yet, but I promise he loves you! He’s good with kids, other dogs and cats. He’s just full of so much love. We’ve never seen this dog anything but eager to please. He is very smart and learns new things impressively quick. He loves playing outside and is always down for a run if you’re into that kinda thing. This sweet boy deserves the family he’s been searching for and so much more. Parker would love nothing more than to just run around the yard playing fetch with some kids then cuddle up next to you on the couch afterwards. This boy is pure love and devotion! He likes to hang out and house sit for his foster parents while they’re at work. He keeps a very close eye but he’s careful not to disturb the peace. He gets along great with his foster siblings, big and small. Parker does get very happy when he meets knew people and just wants to sit in their lap and love them. Unfortunately, many people get this impression of him and think he’s this hyper all the time, but that’s not the case! Once he sees that you’re there to stay, he’s able to calm down and relax with you. This perfect boy needs someone to love him as much as he’s ready to love them!
