All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

This little bit of a guy may have a small body, but he has a big character. He's full of life and fun. His foster says "He's a "little pistol". A happy, small dog, he is actually smaller than he looks. He has a thick, longer coat on an actually tiny body. He is only 9 lbs.! His perky outlook on life and the world is going to make you smile every day. He will enjoy playing in your livingroom with his toys, going for walks with you, and getting a hug whenever the mood strikes you. Although an older boy, he is still full of love and life. We have made sure he is ready to go to you by getting him all his shots and a good vet check. If you want to have some entertainment in a fuzzy package in your life, bring on Richie!
A SPECIAL NOTE TO YOU FROM HIS FOSTER:

He's very playful, will entertain himself chewing on small stuffed animals. He's friendly to everyone he meets. He likes affection and will curl up on your lap to be petted or fall asleep. He sleeps soundly throughout the night. He doesn't need to be crated but doesn't mind if he's crated either. We have only crated him a couple of times when we left to go somewhere and he goes right in the crate without any fuss. He has bursts of playful energy but then will quickly settle down and rest. Richie is fine with my dog. She's a 45lb retriever/border collie mix and he's not the least bit intimidated by her. He doesn't really pay much attention to her at all.
