All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

Roxie has had a lifetime of neglect and we are hoping that at long last we can find her a person or family who will show her what love looks like. A naturally sweet dog, she has been shoved around so often that she is now afraid of many things. A gentle, quieter home would be perfect for her. A place where she can learn to trust again and to understand that all humans will not yell at her.
Roxie is entering her senior years and would prefer to be the only pet in the family.
Update on Roxie ! Her foster says "Roxie’s personality is shining now that she has completed her HW treatment. I would no longer apply a “timid” label to her. She is playful and loving. She really enjoys being petted and snuggled. She does have arthritis in the hip and needs a soft dog bed and a home with no stairs to climb. She will make a faithful companion to someone interested in this beautiful girl."
