Dixie needs a caretaker or foster! Won't you consider helping her get a new start?
All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

If you want a dog who will love you with all her heart, Dixie is your girl. Her foster says "A little shy, but very loyal, stays close to me and goes right into her crate. A very nice dog." Dixie has SO much going for her. She has that legendary loyalty of shepherds, but in a smaller package. She is a dream to walk on a leash. Imagine the fun you will have exploring with Dixie. Long walks, wagging tail, fresh air. Healthy for both of you. She has shown herself to be good with other dogs and is crate trained. A big bonus...she is already house trained! Dixie is ready and waiting to be your very own girl. She has been spayed for you and has had all her shots. She has been vet checked and is ready to go!
