Birdie needs a caretaker or foster! Won't you consider helping her get a new start?
All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

A very easy to have and to love senior, Birdie has learned very well how to be a good family dog and companion. She has had lots of practice! We find it peaceful just having her around! She has that big loving Lab heart, too. Her foster says of her "Birdie was taken to the shelter when her owner went into assisted living. She is a sweet girl who is shy with a calm, gentle temperament." She is all for nice walks without pulling and excitement. With Birdie, you will find yourself learning to "smell the roses" along the paths of life. To win her heart, all you need to do is say "good girl" and run your hand down her back She was born to love people and she has only refined that characteristic throughout her time.
