All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

Bixby is full of life and love. His foster says "He is really an adorable guy, easy going, loves everyone and everything. He gets along with all dogs and cats. Does not particularly like to be left alone according to the previous owner. Based on what she had indicated that she kept him either outside or in a separate room which he did not particularly like. I think that if he is with the rest of the family and not shut in or crated, he will do fine. Basically he is a typical Schnauzer. He is very laid back though and just loves attention and to go on walks. The owner thought that he would do best with an older person, basically would prefer a home without young children. He knows his name and will come when called. He is housebroken and he also know the words "go pee pee" or "go poo poo" and will go when instructed. He loves his toys and often carries them around with him. " So cute! All in all, a darling little boy schnauzer.
NOTE: His person loved him very much, but had to go into a nursing home and had to leave him behind.
