All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

Finn is one of those dogs who did not win the lottery when he got his first set of humans. When he began to get mellow and older, his people simply abandoned him on an old road and left him to starve. His second chance came around when a caring person saw him and told him it was going to be all right. She loaded him in her car and took him to safety. It was then that she found out what a true jewel he is. He is perfectly house trained, loving, and obedient. He has had some years to learn what a good dog should be and he tries his hardest to be that perfect dog. No longer a puppy, he likes to take life a bit slower, but he is so happy to be with people. Anything you want to do, he is delighted to be right there next to you, helping if he can, following if it's not within his abilities. His foster says of him "Finn was found abandoned on the side of the interstate in rough shape.  He’s fine with cats.  Not reactive to chickens.  He’s utterly housebroken and wants to be where ever his human is." So, if you have other animals, Finn is going to be totally chill about that. His entire focus in life is about you. His beautiful, expressive eyes will follow you as you move throughout your day. And they will do it with total love. For him, his person completes his world. He has all the grace and wisdom that come with years of practice. How lucky can you get!
