All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

My life has not been a bed of roses so far. I am really hoping there is someone out there that will let me have a warm bed, food in my bowl, fresh water, all those things I've never had, but most of all, I hope every night for someone who will want to love me. I'm a good girl, and yes, I know I may be an older girl, but I am very loving. I've just never had anyone who wanted my heart. I've never had care until rescue came for me. It was wonderful! I am now warm, and dry, and there is food! My foster pets me and it feels so good! It's just, well, I hope you won't think I'm ungrateful, but I would so love to have a person or family of my own. My own people, my own yard, I'll even share it with other dogs, happily. I lived with 40 other dogs, so I know about getting along. Before, I was just thing to humans. They didn't care that I had feelings. They made me make babies again and again. I want to be someone's special little girl. I won't ask for much. Just hold me when I'm scared, give me somewhere soft to lie down. Do I dare ask? Maybe even take me for walks? Let me sit next to you, oh my heavens, on the couch? Perhaps I'm going too far here. Please, just come and make me yours. I dream about you every night.
SPECIAL NOTE: These rescue people are taking such good care of me while I wait for you. I went to the vet and got all checked out. I got my shots, (ouch) and they even microchipped me for you.
