All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

You say you love dachshunds and you are looking for a good one? Look no further. Healthy, happy, and fun! That's our Elle. Her foster has high praise saying "I'm Ellie and I guarantee to keep you entertained, cheer you up if you're sad or do the 100 yd dash around the yard for fun.  I'm house trained, love my crate, walk well on leash and have a healthy appetite. I just need my forever home to complete my story."
Elle has had a few litters of puppies in her life and now she is just looking to find her wonderful forever home.

Elle's perfect home would not have any cats, no children, and she prefers no other dogs in the home. She is ok with other dogs but shows resource guarding inside the home. 

Elle's ideal home would be a single adult that is home most of the time and does not have too many guests in their home and not to be left alone too long at a time. Elle has shown some fear to other people coming into the home.

Elle needs a physical fenced yard.
