All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

This little baby doll loves one thing most in all the world - sitting on your lap. Warm and snuggly. Well, yes, she does love her food, too. So much so that she has gotten a bit tubby. She is doing well getting her girlish figure back and still has about a pound to go. She is loving her walks, which are something new to her. She had belonged to an older couple and was very familiar with all the TV programs and the best position on the couch. Her foster says she is a fantastic girl, always happy, friendly, and easy. Here is what she says:

"She lived with an elderly couple and rarely took a walk and had a food bowl down all of the time.  She stayed in her “mother’s” lap all day. She has been doing well losing her extra weight.

PERSONALITY:  Extremely sweet and appreciative; she loves her bed and my lap and is starting to like her walks;  she has met some neighborhood canine friends and is very excited to see them;  she also loves very much her breakfast and dinner.  She is frightened of thunder and lightning; I recently bought her a thunder blanket;  have not tried it yet but hope it helps!

She is completely up to date on her shots and I had bloodwork done, which turned out excellent. In my opinion, she should not and does not need to be crated; she needs a person to be hers; she would be fine in a home with another person and another dog but needs her own person.  I don’t know about cats. She eats 4 or 5 spoonfuls of food each day. She lives for my lap, her food, and love every day."
Do you have a warm lap and lots of love? Candy Sue would like to be ALL yours!
