A dachshund and a spaniel. What a wonderful conbination! Nick is one brave little guy, too. He was found with a rubberband wrapped around his neck and cutting into his skin. So tight, he had to try hard to breathe, but he held on until help arrived and has been such a good boy as he recovers from surgery.  All fixed up now, he is ready to enjoy life. He will trot around your backyard and enjoy walks, sniffing everything as he goes along and letting you know that life is good. A delightful small dog and one who will make you smile each and every day!  Nicholas still has puppy energy, so would like to go to an active home with a fenced yard and preferably another dog to play with. He is potty trained, crate trained, rarely barks. Nicholas will need some leash training.  He's very sweet considering all he's been through.  We dont know how he is with kids or cats, but he is a bit rambunctious so toddlers would probably get knocked down.
