Sweet and shy, Skye is hoping at long last to find someone to love her and value her for the wonderful dog she is. So far in her life, she has been treated like something worthless to throw away when no longer wanted. She is worth so much more than that. Skye is a very loving dog who keeps trying to give her heart to heartless humans. Maybe you could show her what it's like to be loved back. She tries so hard to be a good girl and has a wonderful, naturally good temperament. Given a chance, she would be your very best friend and would dearly love to play in your yard, go for walks with you, and curl up near you each evening. We have made sure she has had a good vet check-up for you, and gotten her all her shots and even gotten her spayed for you. All you have to do is bend over and whisper in her ear that you will love her forever and ever. And she will be yours all her life.

We aren't quite sure what Skye is mixed with.  Our dog scanner app said she's a golden retriever possibly mixed with Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retreiver.  Some people think there is shepherd or spaniel in her.

Skye is going to need a yard with a physical fence.   She loves to play fetch and will even bring the ball back!  She's a natural!!  A home with older kids is preferred, since we don't know how she is with young children.  Skye takes treats very gently from the hand, rides well in the car, is crate trained and house broken.   Skye is good with other dogs.
