Rusty is very young, healthy, happy, and ready to go out into the world and explore what it would be like to have a real home and people to love him. A golden retriever mix, heavy on the golden part, Rusty has all the wonderful personality characteristics that make goldens perennially one of the most popular dogs in teh world. Made to be family dogs, goldens tend to love everyone, have outging temperaments, are train easily because they want so much to please. Rusty has all these traits and more! In the friendly department, he is SUPER friendly. There are absolutely no enemies in his world. He is on the small side of medium, at only 37 lbs. so if you are looking for a dog that is not too big and not too small, there is Rusty! We can see him romping in your yard, going for walks and greeting everyone he sees with joy, and, generally, bringing daily smile to whoever is lucky enough to have him as their own. Rusty will be an easy keeper and will adore you with every breath he takes for all of his life. 

 

 Also, as with any dog,  proper introduction to cats is essential and we will provide information to any adopter. But you MUST have done this before.
