All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.
About Elsie | |
|
|
Elsie has been a great little mom to her three puppies and now it's time she finds a home of her own... she is a loving little girl, good with other dogs and cats and still learning about affection from people. She has her own chair and uses it often.
Elsie is one of 119 dogs taken from a puppy mill breeder... She came to us pregnant and is due early Feb.... she will stay with us until her pup(s) are born and fully weaned.. around April 2011. She is learning to be a dog and grass is totally new to her as is attention and affection but she is learning to lap it up!
Elsie's housetraining is a "work in progress" since it was delayed while she delivered and weaned her pups.

PLEASE NOTE: Puppy mill rescues are not able to be placed in a home without dog experience (no first time dog owners); must not go to a home with young children (too much activity for the dog trying to "make it" in the outside world); and must go to a home where they will not be left for more than a four hour stretch.
