All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

Cappy is a fun and friendly dog. Outgoing and happy, he absolutely LOVES being with people and will work for pats on the head long before he will do tricks for food. Praise from you, well, he could live on it! Only two years old, he would love to celebrate his very next birthday at your house and promises he will be the best dog he has it in him to be. Full of life and healthy, he has all his shots, is neutered for you, and is ready, waiting and eager to learn from you just what you want to make him the perfect dog. He would like an active individual or family and would be great as a running companion. If you are the outdoors sort, even better. He would lope through the woods with the best of them! He is ready to play games in the yard, go for walks and be your best friend. Good with other dogs, he is a great choice if you are looking to add a companion dog to one already in residence. There are so many good things to say about Cappy, that, well, we know when you meet him you will find even more...especially when he gives you kisses and looks up into your face with his big brown eyes full of hope.

A SPECIAL NOTE FROM HIS FOSTER; Cappy's foster says he learned his house training quickly and is getting better each day at walking properly on a leash.  He has a great disposition with people, including small children, and is a wonderful playmate with other dogs. Alone or as a companion to another dog, his foster says, Cappy could be a wonderful addition to a family.
