All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

Velveteen has the softest fur and looks exactly like a little bear cub. Just beginning to grow out of babyhood, she's curious, friendly, smart, and affectionate all at the same time. She is a sturdy, healthy puppy, full of the joy of life. She LOVES to play.

Watching her romp in the backyard is so much fun! She is a happy, high energy dog. She needs someone to become her new parent and help her learn everything that all puppies should know.  She is very smart, so it shouldn't take long. When she looks at you with her bright little eyes, you just KNOW she is listening to everything you say. There are so many good things to say about Velveteen. We have had her spayed for you, microchipped, all her shots, and she has started on leash training as well as house training. Her foster says she hasn't had a single accident, and does her "good girl deed" every time she is taken outside. While she has the bone structure of a Belgian shepherd, she is going to be only a medium sized dog, so we are guessing "dad" was a smaller dog. How perfect, all that happiness in a not so big package! To love Velveteen is to smile all day. Ready to raise a little girl all your own?

We believe Velveteen is 90% Belg Shep purebred...and her high intelligence supports that. ALSO: Take a look at the pictures of Velveteen with her ears up! In only a week they no longer flop over! She's growing up!
