All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

Dusty is a great mix of many golden retriever genes and something else. A fun surprise! Looking mostly like a golden, he also has that "golden" personality, making him friendly and outgoing. With his very sweet temperament, he loves people of all shapes and sizes and likes playing with other dogs. He is so young, he still has that "let's play" rump in the air stance when he is happy, which is most of the time. He will make an ideal family dog, a perfect best friend for an individual. We can see him going on walks with you, playing in the back yard, or simply enjoying time with you. As you know, goldens simply adore their people and love being with them. Dusty would love to give his heart to you. He has not had a person before, so you would be his first and forever love. He will be the sunshine of your life with that golden coat and personality.

FOSTER UPDATE: Dusty is part border collie. He got 2 baths, a pat down, and a blow dry.  He ate, and played with toys! Clara LOVES him!  He smells good, has a full belly, and is comfy with a blanket and toys in his crate. We got multiple hugs and kisses from him already. He knows sit, down, and shake. I think that's a pretty good evening!

He has this habit of sticking his whole nose in the water when he drinks!!!
