All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

Our lovely Sabrina needs a person to make her world whole. This sweet dog has no one to love her and it shows. She wants to feel your gentle hand on her head. She is SO young to be abandoned. Any show of kindness will earn you her whole heart for ever and ever. She is on the smaller side of medium in size and would make the best family dog. She very much wants to please you. Very good with other dogs, she would be a fine addition to your family if you are looking for a companion for another dog. This loving dog has already been spayed for you and had all her shots. All you need to add is a soft word in her ear...something like " I love you" will do, and she will look up at you with those soulful eyes, knowing that at last someone has come for her. She will be grateful for all of her life. The love of a dog like this, who has had so little, is breathtaking to behold.

Notes from foster: Sabrina is very well socialized. She loves people and I've seen NO aggressive behavior toward other dogs. I have not had her around cats, but I think she would do very well with them. I have some small puppies that climb all over her and she just rolls over and plays with them. I'm honestly not sure if she was previously in a home...it's likely though, she is house trained. She does well in the crate and we have not had a single bathroom accident. She is a smart girl, and is already catching on to "sit" but still needs some training with her manners as far as jumping and pulling on the leash. This should not be seen as negative though, because in the few days I've had her, she has been very receptive to everything I've worked with her on. She just needs a home and someone to show her some consistency. Sabrina is a wonderful, beautiful girl.
