All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

Ray is one of those dogs who lives for love. Older, and oh so gentle, he has limited vision, but he doesn't need to see well with his eyes, as he looks to his hoped for person or family with his heart. Very thin, he is so grateful for food in his bowl, a soft place to lie down, and the soft touch of your hand across his shoulders. He is good with everyone, from men, to women, other dogs, even cats. He has seen the world, and often it has been unkind to him, but he has never faltered in his trust of humans, even when they did not deserve it. If you have ever shared the love of an older dog, you know how very special it can be. He will love you back with every beat of his heart, for all of his days. He will never, ever take you for granted and his quiet, wise ways bring peace to all who are around him. If you are considering an older dog, if you believe in karma, there is no sweeter dog than Ray. He would give his very life to be on the other end of your leash, or lying at your feet. He is ready for nice walks and gentle evenings. The question is, are you, too?
