All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

When I walked into this shelter to evaluate another dog, there was Wally, a purebred Golden Retriever, sitting there looking at me, wagging his tail. This shelter was so overly full; there were 2-3 dogs per run and dogs sitting in crates. I knew I had to take him with me to become a Reach Out Rescue & Resources dog.

He turned out to be super sweet, likes dogs and cats and seemed okay with the kids we saw at the shelter. He rode beautifully in the car, as I didn't have a crate with me. While at the vet, all the assistants commented about Wally being such a nice boy. This beautiful dog is ready to come into your life and fill it with "golden love".
