All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

 Our Lucia is really still a puppy, even has that wonderful softness of puppy fur, yet she was found out in the cold, without anyone to care for her. Her "golden" personality is strong, however, and she is eager for human companionship. She readily responds to human touch. We think she is going to grow into a real cuddler. This wonderful dog Will be a perfect companion to an individual or an ideal family dog. We can see her playing in your back yard (she has LOTS of energy for playing!), going for walks with you, and curled up near you, waiting for your hand to caress her head. She is ready to learn from you and so young that she has a whole world of life and love to give. Lucia requires a fenced yard and older children or no children.

Lucia is a lovely sweet dog who loves attention, and affection... she's selective other dogs so we suggest she be an only pet, and good with children who understand correct behavior with a dog.
