All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

FROM FOSTER:
No children under the age of 5, just because I don't think she wants kids rolling on her and in her face. She doesn't have a mean bone in her body, but she also is not comfortable with people and kids "getting in her face." I would also mention that she would like to be in another home with another dog. She loves to run and play with my dogs. She is housetrained, good with dogs and cats, shy at first with people, but will warm up to them once she is settled.
Piper is a great mix of two family dogs, making her a healthy, sturdy, young girl. She is a shy, sweet dog, who will simply blossom in a real home that she can call her own. She is all ready to go on walks with you and to play in your backyard. Once she knows she has a safe place to live and love, she will open her heart to you and show you what a loyal and loving dog she has become. Piper is very underweight so her foster mom is working on getting her weight up...she does say she wants to be a lap dog and whoever gets this sweet girl, will be very lucky!!!
Piper needs to have another canine friend to help her and also prefer she go to a home where someone is home most of the day. She would also prefer a quieter home, as she is easily spooked by noises.
