All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

Duncan is a gentle, sweet , purebred golden retriever. In the very prime of his life, at only 4 years old, he was raised with small children and other dogs and is very good with both. He loves all people and has every bit of that wonderful "golden" personality. Our pictures show him shaved, but his feathers will grow back into that famous silky coat in no time, all ready to wave in the breeze when you take this well bred dog for a walk. His temperament? Other goldens could come learn from this boy. He loves to be loved, and if you will cuddle with him, he will snuggle right back in contentment. He also gives hugs! So why is this perfect dog up for adoption? He was born not quite perfect and takes an inexpensive medicine twice a day to keep his tendancy for seizures under control. And we can tell you they are well controlled with his meds. Happy, outgoing, friendly, loving, we think he is more than perfect. If you want a dog who will actually beleive the sun rises and sets on your very head, Duncan will stand and deliver!
