All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

Isa is a young, happy, outgoing lab, just right for a best friend and family dog. There is a reason that labs hve been the number 1 dog in this country for 20 years running, and Isa is a good example why. She is eager to please, smart, and always up for fun. Going for a walk? She's ready and waiting.  Isa will be out there with her rump up in the air and her chest hunkered down next to the ground saying "let's play!" Need a buddy on the couch, or next to your chair, Isa is right there. A perfect size, she loves other dogs, so if you are looking for a companion dog for one already in residence, she would be a good choice. Have kids? She loves children and would play for hours with them in the yard. Want a dog to greet your friends with a friendly grin? She's there again. What a good girl!  And just like a lab, a gentle pat on the head, a smile, and she will give her heart away to you.

Isa is a true cuddler and will not do well being left alone at night.. she needs to be near her "person".  So she is a dog that will not easily adjust to not being in the bedroom with you at night.

Foster update: 

Oh my goodness what an ADORABLE girl!!!  Her fur is so soft and luxurious and her tail hardly stops wagging.  She is fully housebroken but doesn't seem to know any basic commands -- we are working on that. She loves to snuggle with me and my lab Toby (lays right on the bed with him!).  Ellie gives the sweetest little kisses.  Her personality is very easy going and she adapts to new situations well. She is tiny but packed full of love and curiosity.
