Al needs a caretaker or foster! Won't you consider helping him get a new start?
All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

THIS DEAR OL BOY IS IN DESPERATE NEED OF A FOSTER HOME.. RIGHT NOW HE'S IN A KENNEL AND THAT'S NEVER GOOD FOR A SENIOR DOG!!!
There he is, looking out at you, hoping against hope that you will see the love and devotion in his eyes and understand that he will love you with his whole heart until his last breath. He likes to enjoy the fresh air, go for walks, and just be by your side. He's never been one to put himself forward, no barking, jumping up, or look at me kind of behaviors.
Al is happy just getting a good boy and pat on the head. If you look in his big brown beautiful eyes you will see a depth of wisdom. This sweet soul is waiting patiently, day after day, for the person who will see him, really see him. A quiet, well mannered, calm dog, he is ready to give you total, unconditional love. He is very good with all people (adults, men, women,) but young children scare him however he loves other dogs. He still likes to play with both people and dogs like he's a big puppy. Then he will curl up for a nap sighing with contentment. He prefers slower walks, sniffing the grass, watching the sunsets, and curling up near you content that he is not alone. He knows all his basic commands, sit, down and will even talk to you if you ask him to. If Al sounds like your dog, here he is, waiting, and waiting for you to clip on his leash and say "let's go home, boy."
Al is a wonderful, well trained, quiet dog and is just a big ol lovebug!!
