All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

Max is a wonderful, sturdy, healthy boy with all those born and bred temperament characteristics that make labs the number one family dog. Did you know that labs have held that spot for 20 years running now? And there is a reason. Max wants to please his people, is good with other dogs, making him a super choice if you are looking for a canine companion for a current dog, and is delighted to see people of all shapes and sizes. He will greet all your friends with a wagging tail and will absolutely adore you and yours. He will play with the children and greet everyone with joy each and every day. He will be so much fun to watch play in the backyard, and will love to go on walks with you. The best part? He is past that puppy stage, but still quite young, and, in our view, the clincher is that he is already house trained. How great is that! This ready made family dog is ready for you!

FOSTER UPDATE: Just wanted to let you know that I got Max and man oh man is he great!!!  Sweet is the perfect word to describe him.  He and my dog, Molly are great together so far.  They played in the back and I feel like she is showing him around.  I'll get a better pic of him once he settles in, but on the drive home, I can't tell you how many kisses my arm got.  He also is great with the kids.  Goes right up to them and kisses them.
