All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

A Special Note from His Foster:

Calvin is an adorable and incredibly sweet little dog. He is assertive, yet shy and still getting used to the world around him. Coming from a hoarding situation and living with over 130 other dogs (and cats), there are so many new and exciting things he has yet to experience in his life. Since our time with him, we have truly bonded. He is a sensitive little boy and still has some hesitations about the outside world. We work with him on this every day in hopes that he will soon be as confident and happy outside the house as he is inside. Snuggling with his people and receiving affection are all this boy lives for after being so neglected early on in his life. At only 25 pounds, he is the perfect size. He is a true sweetheart. We learn more about his personality each day as we continue to help him grow. He would do best in an adult home or with older children.
