All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

Sweet, loving, gentle, kind. All words that perfectly describe our Golden Buddy. Easy to live with , even easier to love, Golden Buddy is all ready for those quieter walks, nice playtimes in the backyard, curling up next to you each night with a grateful snuggle. He is a dog perfectly suited to someone who would rather stroll than jog, and who likes watching the wildlife, rather than chasing it down. Being a pure Golden, Buddy has that legendary "golden" personality, which means he will greet all your friends with a big tail wag and a smile. Gentle with children, good with other dogs, he would never, ever think about causing anyone any trouble. He knows his job is to give love and he is very good at it. He would make an outstanding therapy dog, or just your very best friend. Buddy is ready to do whatever is asked of him...and all this for only a pat on the head.

 A NOTE TO YOU FROM BUDDY'S FOSTER: ...typical Golden personality..very laid back and submissive...gets along with everything. Golden Buddy went to the assisted living home where my mother-in-law lives and he did wonderfully.  He had a blast meeting all of the residents and they loved meeting Buddy! He would make a wonderful therapy dog.  He was also groomed yesterday and did great...loved everyone in the grooming shop.
