All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

Victor is a funny, sweet boy, looking for a home where he will be a family member. He promises to do his part and love you with all his heart. Ready to go for walks and play in your yard, he hopes to be your very best guy and will try hard to do his best to show you each and every day how happy he is to be yours. Friendly and outgoing, and a never ending tail wag, he will spread smiles and laughter wherever he goes. You simply cannot meet this dear boy and not fall in love!

A SPECIAL NOTE TO YOU FROM HIS FOSTER: Victor is a healthy, happy, affectionate dog, looking for a home where he will be a family member.  When he’s excited, he does a “full body wag” ; )  He loves investigating scents outside and chasing tennis balls.  He is playful with the other dogs in his foster home.  He is polite and very smart, and is currently in a training class to prepare for the AKC Canine Good Citizen test.  Victor went with his foster mom to visit family over the holidays, and everyone loved him.  He is also a favorite at Petsmart, and wags his tail the entire time he’s in the store.  He is crate trained and house trained. Victor can be fearful at times, especially when other dogs bark at him.  He is in training to help him learn that he can depend on his “person” and doesn’t need to react to other dogs.  Because of this, Victor will need someone who is willing to continue his training and confidence building.  He has made great improvements since he entered his foster home, especially since he was afraid to walk on a leash at first!

NOTE: Victor will require a fenced yard and a dog savvy home (someone who will continue with his training as needed and is comfortable working with him) with no cats or small animals (he wants to chase them).  Victor may do best as an “only dog”.
