Diego needs a caretaker or foster! Won't you consider helping him get a new start?

All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

Diego is a happy dog and full of life and energy. He wants very much to be a good boy and when you show him what you want him to do, he tries his best to do it. A sturdy, healthy dog, he is ready to spend his life at your side, helping you feel his joy at playing in the sun, and living his life to the fullest.

A SPECIAL NOTE TO YOU FROM HIS FOSTER: He is a changed dog from when he first arrived. He uses his manners daily without being asked to. He sits for attention, sits to greet, sits for his food. He greets people happily but gently. To play
he lays down and crawls around like a goof. He is no longer the tornado in
puppy clothing! When he meets new people he automatically sits! His take for
treats is perfect. I am so proud of him. Diego is a love, goofy still but if he
gets excited ask him " what do good boys do?" and his rump hits the
floor.
Diego still needs some work on the leash and will do best with children 12 and over.
