All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

FROM FOSTER: They are a joy to have in my home and always make me smile.

They are a close knit pair but the more they’re with me, the more brave they
get & I am seeing their individual selves coming out & them doing their
own things. They will go outside in the backyard without each other &
follow me around if the other doesn’t always tag along. Usually Daisee is my
“shadow” and follows me everywhere…mostly thinking she’s going to get a treat.

Daisee is shy & timid at first but once she knows she’s ok, safe &
secure she warms right up. When you get kisses you know you’re golden but
she’ll take a belly rub anytime you want to offer it up!

Sylvester is the more relaxed & laid back of the two. He enjoys butt rubs
& cuddling up in my lap & usually rests his head on my chest or my legs
when we are all on the couch…when I am actually able to get a spot on the couch
You would never know from his personality that he came from such horrible
conditions. He really is a trooper & goes with the flow.

Every night they see me pick up their leashes & their tails and butts
wiggle, they are so excited and again, for their lack of upbringing walk great
on a leash, no troubles at all, unless they see a bunny. They think they’re
Flash Gordon & can catch each and every one.



Daisee and Sylvester have had very little in their lives in the way of comfort or love. They was kept in terrible conditions without relief with two other dogs. When we got a release and took them to the kennel they were so excited just to have a blanket! They love running around in the big yard but are quick to want to return to the inside kennel. Daisee is life bonded with her friend Sylvester, and a love this strong is something very rare and special to see, They are both quick to learn and LOVE attention although Daisee is a bit shy, but not a mean bone in their bodies. They are exceedingly thankful for everything and the tails just never stop wagging. These lovely dogs will make great companions for you and will demonsttrate what true love is all about. They will require fenced yards as they have been penned all their lives and don't understand freedom without bounderies.

NOTE: Sylvester is also 40 lbs., and he is about 9 years old. Older and wiser than Daisee, which is why she looks to him whenever she is unsure. He is the darker coated fo the two. He is milk chocolate...she is taffy! You can see that they even sleep touching and are near each other most of the time. Ready made love in a furry package.
