All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

Special Needs: Hera has a condition called EPI. EPI = Endocrine Pancreatic Insufficiency. Without special enzymes any and all foods pass directly through the digestive tract and NO nutrients are absorbed. An animal will literally starve to death without using the enzymes. The enzymes are added to a high quality diet and run approximately $50-80 a month. It is imperative that a high quality food be used for dogs with EPI, but we suggest that with all animals. Once the appropriate amount of enzymes are determined, this is under control and the dog can live a full and happy life.
