Login to Remember your Favorite Animals and Breeds!

All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

Beautiful thick, fluffy fur, a happy smile, high waving tail...that's our Gaston.  Oh yes, very, very friendly personality, too. This great dog has all the wonderful lab traits that make this breed so popular as a best friend and family dog. He gets along well with other dogs, likes, no, LOVES people, and is eager to  please. He would enjoy playing ball in the backyard, going for walks, but most of all, having someone, or a family, where he could stow his loving heart. Gaston has all the characteristics that could make him the best dog you have ever had. Right down to that wagging tail and his big, golden brown eyes. Sturdy and healthy, he will be up for anything you might want to do. Camping, walking, hiking, biking, or just chilling for a bit. He is completely vetted and ready to go! Ready for your new buddy? Come and meet Gaston! This young dog will give you all the love his heart can hold for ever and always.

Gaston has been delayed in his arrival to us due to heartworms. He is currently being treated and should be ready for about around early Oct. Once treated and kept on heartworm preventative, the dog will have a long and happy life. Please read about Heartworm and if you'd like to consider being Gaston's foster for the final stages and then adopt him, please complete an application. Please read about heartworm  http://www.heartwormsociety.org/pet-owner-resources/canine-heartworm.html

He has been a great dog! Housebroken, very sweet, doesn't really bark. He needa a littke training when it comes to being on the leash, but all in all he is a good boy. He doesn't really know what to do when you play ball or throw a stick, so that might be fun for him to learn as well. He loves, food, the car, and going for walks. He was just treated for heartworms last Thursday 9/12/13, but he has been acting like his normal self.

FOSTER UPDATE: Mr. Gaston is a great great dog; everyone likes him down here.  He is a healthy, very well balanced dog; he is not good on the leash at all (pulls like a horse) so I am glad I don't have to leash him up to take him out but other than that he is the perfect dog.
