All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

Our Lola is a lady! With her classic German shepherd look and that legendary loyalty, Lola also comes paired with a calm and gentle disposition. A very social dog, she is also an easy going one, too, so it doesn't come as a surprise that she is good with other dogs, cats, kids. Lola loves attention, too, and is such a good, smart girl, that we know she could learn anything you wanted to teach her. She likes to please. Already housebroken she hopes to give you her heart and love, knowing you will not desert her. For that simple promise, you will have a German shepherd who will be yours all her life. She is the best of the best, and a fantastic example of all that is good in her breed.

Lola's past owner worries a lot about her as he gave her up due to his health.. .she was very much loved and deserves to have that again. She is about as perfect a dog as you could ever find.

Lola is currently undergoing heartworm treatment, for which the rescue is paying and will soon be the healthy girl she was meant to be. Let her spirit know you, and it will be a bond like no other you have known. Yes, we think she is that special.

A SPECIAL NOTE TO YOU FROM HER FOSTER: She is a wonderful dog. Very laid back and over all well behaved. The only issue is she is very cat interested She does not make contact with them, but just wants to be near them.  Once she is near them she will stare at them for hours if they let her. She is fascinated by them. Also, she really doesn't play with other dogs. She is fine with them, but doesn't want to play with them. She is her own girl!
