All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

Honey Bun is a very friendly dog to people, but should be an only dog in the family, as she doesn't like to share the attention. . She needs to know she can trust you before she 'll give you her heart, but oh my, when she does, it will be forever and ever, with that legendary shepherd loyalty. Very intelligent and eager to learn, she already has good house manners and is nicely house trained. She will need a fenced yard so she can go outside safely. When she need to "go", she will go outside like a good girl, do what she needs to do, and come right back in, but she won't do it on a leash, so she does need to be free to pick her "private" spot. We think it's just adorable. She is a perfect medium size and will love you more than you can imagine once she realizes that you will love her back.
A SPECIAL NOTE TO YOU FROM HER FOSTER: She has not had any accidents in the house and does not chew a single thing. You would not even know she is in the house. She is very sweet. She loves one-on-one attention. She likes Pupperoni treats. any meat, tennis balls. She also will occasionally chew  Nylabones. She is skeptical of people at first. She does best with a calm voice, and you bending down/squatting to her level before approaching her OR simply letting her come to you. She likes consistency and does well with it, like a routine. I let her out in the mornings and she goes to the bathroom and comes right back. Same thing at lunch and in the eveningsl  if you stick with her routine-, she will be at the door waiting with her tail  wagging.
