All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

Long and short he surely is, but there is so much more to Bert. A mature and settled dog, he is friendly to all, liking other dogs, cats and kids equally well. He knows how to be a good house dog because he has had plenty of practice. Already trained for you, he knows to use potty pads in order to cause the least trouble to his persons. He always wants very much to be a good boy.

A SPECIAL NOTE TO YOU FROM HIS FOSTER: Bert is absolutely adorable! He is really sweet and is doing fine with my dog and cat. I am happy to have him! Bert is a super great middle aged guy who is so appreciative of everything in his new life! Bert is a low energy dog that is happy walking around a fenced yard or going for a few short walks per day. He loves to hang out on his favorite spot on the sofa nested into his comfy blanket. Bert is great with other dogs, but does not seem interested in playing. He is cautious of the cat, but soon learned that he can safely walk by without a problem. He is housebroken and able to hold it during a work day. He is learning how to live a city life and is ready to find the perfect home. Bert is absolutely adorable with his huge ears and speckled red and white short legs!
