Copper Lab needs a caretaker or foster! Won't you consider helping him get a new start?

All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

Are their perfect dogs out there? Well, we don't know about the others, but Copper Lab is as good as it gets in the dog world. A spectacular purebred chocolate Lab, he has been loved and cared for with gentleness all his life. He is a love expert! Sadly, his person has been deployed in the military, and he has lost his home. This wonderful, happy, outgoing dog is going to be an asset to your family, as he greetts everyone with wagging tail and a ready to play attitude. He is used to jogging and loves playing in the yard. He is friendly to everyone and everything, from adults, to kids to other dogs, to even cats. He has every good trait of Labs, along with a naturally stable temperament, that makes Labs the #1 favorite family dog in the country. He knows some commands, sit, down, paw, but prefers to roll over for belly rubs. He is even already microchipped! As he says goodbye to his soldier dad, he would dearly love to say hello to you, so he can go on showing how a good dog loves.
A SPECIAL NOTE TO YOU FROM HIS FOSTER: Wonderful Chocolate lab, housebroken, loving, not an overly active dog and loves to be with people.  He has been with a family since he was a pup.
