All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

Sweet Brisa came to us after someone found her living in a dump site at the dead end of a road. She was thrown out like trash to fend for herself, so it's no wonder she's a little shy and submissive. She is yearning for her own family so that she can trust and build up her confidence to be an exuberant little soul again. She is good with people and other dogs but is shy. She is good with cats but sometimes a little intimidated since they are bigger than she is ! If you are willing to give this lovely girl her forever home and the patience to teach her that yes, people are not all that bad, please contact us.
An update from her foster: Brisa has come out of her shell in the weeks that she has been at my home. She is still quite shy with new people, but she follows me around everywhere and jumps into my lap or the bed to cuddle. She loves her toys and plays with all 12 of them. She also loves to play with my Great Dane and two Beagles and tries to play with the cats too ! We are still trying to perfect potty training but she is doing very well for the most part. She walks well on a leash, loves car rides. Brisa is a happy little girl and will make a great addition to a quiet family. Because she is so shy with people, Brisa would like to go to a home with at least one other dog.
