Nugget needs a caretaker or foster! Won't you consider helping him get a new start?
All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.
About Nugget | |
|
Nugget is adorable. Typical puppy. He is about a 10 week old French Bulldog Mix. Loves other dogs and is definitely puppy playful. He does listen to the comments by other dogs and will give them their space. Currently working on housebreaking and hope that the other dogs teach him what he needs to know. So far he does not seem like a big chewer and did absolutely FANTASTIC for his first night. We all went upstairs and I put him in his crate and he slept through the night without a whimper. I had images of a sleepless night with puppy barking and was so pleased. He appears to be very smart and does listen. Nugget is a kisser... Nothing like a face full of puppy kisses. He definitely wants to be where you are . Nugget is a great pup who hopefully will find a family who really deserves his super personality.

A SPECIAL NOTE TO YOU FROM HIS FOSTER:
Nugget is nicely house trained. He is also a quiet little guy. If I want to take a nap, I put him in his crate (it didn't work with him on my lap because he is a big kisser). Then he quietly lays down and takes a nap. He does not jump or try to get out of crate, he is just wonderful. At night we all go upstairs to the bedroom and everyone goes to their places and Nugget goes in a crate beside the bed, with never a whimper and he sleeps throughout the night just like everyone else. Perfect Pooch. He'd probably be a great bedmate. He is not as rambunctious as many pups. He will play but he also wants to be a lapaholic. He also does fantastic on a leash. For such a young boy he is very good. He is not a barker and not a big nipper either.
Nugget is a very very easy young dog, not overly active, although loves to play with you. He would love going for walks, gets along with all dogs or would do wonderful with just his people. I can't imagine him not liking cats, but he would just want to play with them and if they didn't want to play he'd just walk away.
