All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

I am Gus and just longing for a home to live the rest of my life happy and care free. I am past my puppy years so I am playful but do not chew, fully house trained, great manners and I have learned some tricks - sit, down, shake paw, and I have this smile that just makes you laugh! My foster mom has only had me a day but I am trying to show her how great I am. I am completely crate trained and actually feel safe there when I am resting. I made friends with the 4 resident dogs and love all the hugs and attention you will give me.

I need some exercise as I am a little overweight right now. I love taking walks and will stay right with you on a walk but I do like to stop and smell all the great new smells.
