Brantley needs a caretaker or foster! Won't you consider helping him get a new start?

All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

Brantley is a dog who is looking for love. It will be his first time for that when he finds an individual or a family who will treat him as a family member and not  a piece of throw away trash. You see, Brantley has never known what it is like to be cared for, or even thought about. He was pitched outside, tied up, and lived for many days without even food or water, forgotten, braving the wind, the rain, the cold, with nobody coming to help him. Through it all, he stayed a sweet and hopeful dog. At long last his dreams have paid off and he has come to rescue. Our goal is to give him lots of nutritious food so his ribs will disappear, a soft place to rest, and most of all, loving hands to pet him and let him know the nightmare has ended. Only 5 years old, he has the rest of his life to enjoy a family who will know that he is a very special and loved dog. He will be so grateful and let you know every day that he appreciates each gesture of care that you make.  He will appreciate even simple things, like being warm when the snow comes down outside, having food in his bowl, and feeling your presence near him, letting him know he is no longer alone and unwanted.
NOTE: In order for Brantley to play safely, we will require a physical fence for an adopter.
