Heather needs a caretaker or foster! Won't you consider helping her get a new start?
All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.
About Heather | |
|
Heather, also known as Buttercup, is a young, VERY sturdy lady. The wind will never blow this one over! She has a strong body and is an active dog, so she would be the perfect fit for an active person or family. She would be a fantastic hiking partner and would like lots of outdoor play. A physically fenced backyard will be needed for her, so she can run and play safely. Eager to learn and with an extra loyal heart, she is going to be a perfect best friend and partner to an individual or a family. Full of life and fun, Heather is hoping every day that "her" family is out there and will come soon so she can get "game on!" She is the type of dog who will be the life of the party. AND the light of YOUR life.
A SPECIAL NOTE TO YOU FROM HER FOSTER: She's a perfect medium size, 58 lbs, super pretty with insanely soft fur. She has tons of energy, but she's a quick learner and very eager to please. Comes when called, sits on command, good on the leash, however, she is leash reactive if she sees other animals on the walk and 100% house-trained.
Most affectionate dog we've ever met! Loves everyone. . Great with sturdy children, should be at least 8 just because of her playful strength (she'll probably jump up and lick them).
She needs to be the only dog in the home.
No cats for this girl as she is very prey driven.
She's a dream dog for anyone who's looking for a young dog to train and play with and cuddle.
